Another great one from Post Secret

OK, and once again, obviously your so called faith isn't cutting it for you. Sometimes i'm so cruel i know, but get real, either you have faith that there is more to it...the unknown and all that jazz, or you don't and you are going to hell in a bucket like me ;)

What would you say to something like this???

Interesting postcard from Postsecret.blogspot.com. Seriously can you tell me how it is possible to grow in the gospel??? Maybe i'm not being to smart about this, but it looks like this person has tried to magically create some award winning faith in the past. Don't you just have faith? i mean if you are trying to believe, you are trying to create something out of nothing and therefore lying to yourself.

I could be wrong though ;) I've known to be on occasion

Now this is more like it...

Erotic moments from Bible..
2 hours, 18 minutes ago
A German Protestant youth group has put together a 2006 calendar with 12 staged photos depicting erotic scenes from the Bible, including a bare-breasted Delilah cutting Samson's hair and a nude Eve offering an apple.
"There's a whole range of biblical scriptures simply bursting with eroticism," said Stefan Wiest, the 32-year-old photographer who took the titillating pictures.
Anne Rohmer, 21, poses on a doorstep in garters and stockings as the prostitute Rahab, who is mentioned in both New and Old Testaments. "We wanted to represent the Bible in a different way and to interest young people," she told Reuters.
"Anyway, it doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that you are forbidden to show yourself nude."
Bernd Grasser, pastor of the church in Nuremberg where the calendar is being sold, was enthusiastic about the project which is explained online at www.bibelkalender.de.
"It's just wonderful when teenagers commit themselves with their hair and their skin to the bible," he said.

****I definitely think I'm going to order this calendar...I have problem endorsing the opening of eyes of the Christian community...www.bibelkalender.de

Providing Positive Resources for Daily Christian Living

An “extreme Christian makeover” — now that’s better than any reality TV show. That’s an eternal reality change.

Check out the article...http://www.heartlight.org/articles/200310/20031001_makeover.html

On another note, did you know they have several satellite television stations? I was flipping channels at my parents house recently and there was a show titled "Jesus People"

I think someone we know must have sent this in...

The nerve of some people...

Seriously....I believe that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but stop trying to push your views on the rest of us.

random search on Thumpers results

And I quote "Satan smiles, satan dances, satan sings when he watches the "Bible Thumpers" blindly proclaim yet misinterpret God's word as revealed in the Bible.
The "Bible Thumpers" spout the ravings of the last televangelist they have watched on tv. They listen to the latest babbling about who will be "Left Behind". They loudly announce the "End of Times" or the "Rapture" which is coming the day after tomorrow and how it is therefore unncessary to think about or care about the future.
Yes, indeed, Satan loves the foolish "Bible Thumpers" for they thump on the cover of the Bible without ever having understood the words of wisdom which lie therein."

http://www.biblethumpers.org/

Even more astonishing was this...
"Yes, religion and politics do mix. America is a nation based on biblical principles. Christian values dominate our government. The test of those values is the Bible. Politicians who do not use the bible to guide their public and private lives do not belong in office."
--Beverly LaHaye (Concerned Women for America)

That last quote was taken from this site http://www.reandev.com/taliban/
Extremely disturbing if you read through. i recognized several names and was astonished. I used to read teen novels endorsed by Focus on the Family...The books were good I still remember them, however after reading James Dobson's quotes on this page, I wish I never endorsed him in the first place.

There went my soul...Eternal Damnation forever...Whatever happened to the merit of being a good person and believing in the Earth and all that she can provide for us??? I'd really like to know the answer to that one.

To further illustrate my point...

http://www.getsavedtoday.com/entry_page.htm

If you DIED today where would you go?
I know this is a hard and direct question. But it is critical that you feel the urgency of your predicament, and the consequences if you reject Christ's offer of Salvation!

OMG...seriously...things like this are so disturbing!
